Heron and Lamb is a sculptural jewelry collection born out of Chicago. It is inspired by the natural world and the excavation of ancient artifacts. The collections evoke feelings of nostalgia, romanticism, and natural imperfections, while facets from history, science, and archaeological discoveries remain consistent themes throughout each collection.
Raven Locadia began behind Heron and Lamb in 2011 and has since amassed a broad range multi media techniques, which have brought forth a unique and growing diversity to each collection. Deeply inspired by history and archaeology, the construction and functionality behind excavated vessels has always been incorporated into each signature collection of vessel jewelry. Each shape had it's own unique purpose in history.
Enriched by the echoes of ancient civilizations and symbolism, the designs are artfully constructed to meld the past and present, creating a statement of modern craft brewed with the raw yet refined aesthetic of antiquity.
